ON THE WAY TO RECOVERY

I'm looking forward to spring this year as I missed last year's spring weather when I was stricken with pneumonia and hospitalized for about a month.  I was afraid I was going to have a repeat performance this year.  A few weeks ago I became ill again.  But Barry and Tam, and my primary care doctor, aggressively fought off the attack, and while I was ill and am still not up to par, I avoided getting pneumonia and stayed out of the hospital, thank God!
When I became ill last year, the pollen count was over 5,000!  And, Barry thinks that may have triggered my pneumonia.  This year it has been high again and I am trying to stay inside and enjoy the pretty sunshine from my windows.
The home health nurses and physical therapist, along with Barry and Tam are helping me to recover.
I was given a powerful antibiotic to protect me from pneumonia.  It has worked miraculously but I'm having trouble with stomach upset and will need some time of recovery before feeling well again.
Shortly, before becoming ill, I had an appointment with my eye doctor.  And, I hope to have the eye lid surgery soon.  Tam will be staying with me following the surgery.  It has become difficult for me to try to read now.
Please remember me in your prayers as I fight the fatigue and other ailments now.  My doctor and home health nurses tell me my vital signs are all perfect, thank God!  And, I am off of oxygen now.
